i used to read the books when i was younger, very short books, didnt ever expect it to become a movie one day, but how exciting lol cant wait
Journal for film Fight or Flight.
5th March.
Basically wrote what I wanted for my movie, props I was going use and sounds
10th March.
Started using Celtix, started off with the script, with all characters and actions they were going to do and props.
14th March.
In celtix again but drew up my storyboard and then put it into celtix.
21st March.
Also spent a whole day trying to a find a foam baseball bat, which was unsuccessful and had to get a foam sword instead.
Did 2 days of filming at a friends house did it all during the day as I was going to transform it to a night scene, used my storyboards as a guide as well as assisting my actors with what they had to say with the script
28th March.
Got all my footage and started editing it all into final cut pro.
5th April.
Did a lot of editing in final cut pro, but also had to start over as I lost my footage because it didn’t stage, but did it all again, was a bit behind.
12th April.
Took more footage for film, as I needed some more shots of certain scenes
17th April.
Put all that footage into final cut pro and re arranged it all.
24th April.
Started really getting into the editing, and fixing little things up so it could run a bit more smoothly
30th April.
Had trouble with the sound with the camera, as it wasn’t working well at the time, decided in the end not to use any voices at all. Thought it would have a better effect aswell.
11th May.
Still editing, took a lot more time then I expected, but some shots work really well with one another.
19th May.
Made sure everything was set and put together in the right place before doing effects.
25th May.
Cut and editied my footage putting in effects like fade ins and slow motion effects
29-30th May.
Put footage in colour for the first time, trying to touch up colour corrections and making it look just that little bit better.
5th June.
Put all my footage into colour, tried to change it to night scene but looked really bad so I just changed all my footage to black and white. So ended up not needing to do colour correction after all.
12th June.
Put all the music I chose from soundtrack a put it with my film.
17th June.
Finally finished the film.

Beach and Fun
